TOWN OF AUBURN, MASSACHUSETTS PUBLIC HEARING, Petition for joint or Identical Pole Locations You are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held at 6:30 PM on January 12, 2026 in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room at 104 Central Street, Auburn MA, as Requested by Massachusetts Electric Company d/b/a National Grid and Verizon New England, Inc. This petition requests permission to locate poles, wires, and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across the following public way: National Grid to relocate 2 JO Poles on Walsh Ave beginning at a point approximately 900’ feet east if the centerline of the intersection of Auburn st and Continuing approximately 150’ feet in an easterly direction. National Grid is relocating Poles 8 & 9 across the street. Also for permission to lay and maintain underground laterals, cables, and wires in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as each of said petitioners may desire for distributing purposes.
