CITY OF WORCESTER PROPOSED ORDINANCE The City Council of the City of Worcester at a meeting held in City Hall on December 9, 2025 voted to advertise the following on a roll call vote of Ten Yeas and No Nays: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 68 OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF 2008 TO ESTABLISH, MODIFY OR ELIMINATE ONE-WAY DESIGNATIONS ON PORTIONS OF ASH STREET, WASHINGTON STREET, GOLD STREET, SUMMIT STREET, HARDING STREET AND MILLBURY STREET Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Worcester as follows: Part I Section 68 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by deleting in Schedule III, thereof, the provision for: Ash Street, Easterly direction, from Summit Street to Green Street And replacing it with the following new provision: Ash Street, Westerly direction, from Green Street to Washington Street Part II Section 68 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by inserting in Schedule III, thereof, after the provision for: Warner Avenue, Southerly direction, from Hamilton Street to Grafton Street the following new provision: Washington Street, Southerly direction, from Ash Street to a point 145 ft south of Ash Street Part III Section 68 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by deleting in Schedule III, thereof, the provision for: Gold Street, Westerly direction, from Green Street to Washington St. Part IV Section 68 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by inserting in Schedule III, thereof, after the provision for: Stockton Street, Northerly & Westerly direction, from Ames Street to Vernon Street the following new provision: Summit Street, Northerly direction, from Ash Street to Plymouth Street Part V Section 68 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by deleting in Schedule III, thereof, the two provisions for: Harding Street, Southerly direction, from Ashmont Avenue to Olde Millbury Street Harding Street, Southerly direction, from Winter Street to Ashmont Avenue And replacing them with the following two new provisions: Harding Street, Northerly direction, from Arwick Avenue to Kelley Square Harding Street, Southerly direction, from Harrison Street to Kelley Square Part VI Section 68 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by deleting in Schedule III, thereof, the three provisions for: Millbury Street, Northerly direction, from Ashmont Avenue to Vernon Street Millbury Street, Southerly direction, from Ashmont Avenue to Harding Street Olde Millbury Street, Northerly direction, from Quinsigamond Avenue to Millbury Street. And replacing them with the following two new provisions: Millbury Street, Southerly direction, from Vernon Street to Ashmont Avenue Olde Millbury Street, Southerly direction, from Harding Street to Arwick Avenue A Copy.
