The City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 15, at 6:00 PM, or soon thereafter, and from time to time thereafter as necessary, at the Riviera Beach Event Center located at 190 E 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to consider the below Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 4282
An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, Amending the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 31, "Zoning," Article I, "In General", Section 31-4. – “Hearing Generally; notice; deposits.” to Add Public Notice Requirements for All Site Plan Applications subject to a public hearing and Special Exceptions applications; Providing for Codification, Severability, and an Effective Date.
This ordinance ensures that the public is better informed about development proposals in the City of Riviera Beach. Specifically, it adds new requirements for public notice whenever a site plan application that requires a public hearing or a special exception application is submitted. In other words, before these types of projects can move forward, nearby residents and stakeholders will receive formal notice and have the opportunity to attend and provide input at a public hearing.
Background material is available for review in its entirety in the Development Services Department between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at the meetings, such interested person, at their own expense, will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.015).
