330 9th Avenue South Building Demolition INVITATION FOR BIDS   The City of Wisconsin Rapids will accept electronic bids through the online website Quest vBID for the demolition and removal of all building, structures and fixtures of 330 9th Avenue South until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026. The electronic bids will be publicly opened on Quest vBID and read aloud at that time at the office of the Community Development Department, City Hall, 444 West Grand Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495. No paper bids will be accepted.   The project includes the following work:   Complete demolition and removal of the approximately 14,734 square foot former steel castings foundry located at 330 9th Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin 54495. The building had a fire in 2017 and was partially demolished but consists of multiple remaining connected sections of both steel and wood. In addition, the project includes the removal of drums and containers left from the manufacturing operation which have been inventoried. Hazardous chemical and building material surveys shall be conducted as part of the project, along with necessary abatement activities.
