PUBLIC NOTICE: The Hellam Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on June 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Township building located at 35 Walnut Springs Road, York, PA 17406, to hear Application No. Z-2026-09 – J. Zajac – UPI 31-03-10, 794 Grand Manor Dr.
The applicant is requesting a Variance from § 490-12, Table of Dimensional Requirements (Maximum Lot Coverage), of the Hellam Township Zoning Ordinance to permit 17% impervious coverage where a maximum of 15% is permitted in the Rural Agricultural (RA) Zone, for the expansion of an existing driveway.
PUBLIC NOTICE: The Hellam Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on June 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Building, located at 35 Walnut Springs Road, York, PA 17406, to hear Application No. Z-2026-10 – Christopher Whitley – UPI 31-MK-37, 6114 River Drive.
The Applicant is requesting Special Exception approval pursuant to § 490-134 of the Hellam Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the expansion of an existing nonconforming use, including additions and alterations to the existing structure and related site improvements.
The Applicant is also requesting a Variance from § 490-12, Table of Dimensional Requirements (Front Yard Setback), of the Hellam Township Zoning Ordinance to permit a 15-foot front yard setback where 40 feet is required in the Rural Agricultural (RA) Zoning District, for the expansion and remodeling of an existing single-family dwelling, including an extension of the existing front deck.
