Project Description: SHUMAKE - Conditional Use Permit for Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (2x6) - SUBMISSION-2025-7415
Conditional Use Permit to construct a 600 square foot detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on a 5-acre parcel in the Rural Residential zone. The proposed ADU will be 90 feet from the primary residence. The primary residence is 1,279 square feet, wherein the property's co-owner will reside. The ADU will use the same driveway as the primary residence and will be serviced by an on-site septic system. The proposed ADU will be a navy stick-built rambler with white trim, a pitch – gable roof, with composite shingles, vertically oriented engineered wood siding, and white vinyl glider windows. The design elements are all in keeping with primary residence.
