"Notice of Intent to Utilize a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement"/Notice of Special Meeting and Enter into Closed Session June 10, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the Winslow Township Fire District #1 intends order one (1) Pierce Model 23P-106 Enforcer PUC Pumper 750 Tank, 1500 Pumper – 1024, through Fire and Safety Services, LTD utilizing the Houston-Galveston Area Council national cooperative agreement. The contract is FS12-23 Fire Apparatus. The contract is from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2027. This fire apparatus will be funded utilizing referendum funds approved by the residents on November 4, 2025. Information regarding the contract may be obtained from the Winslow Township Fire District #, 9 Cedar Brook Road, Sicklerville, NJ, during regular business hours or within the public notice on their website at www.winslowtwpfd.org. The Winslow Township Fire District joined the Houston-Galveston Area Council contract on July 26, 2018. The Houston Galveston Area Council contract term renews automatically. It is the intent of the Chairman to make a contract award to Pierce through Fire and Safety Services, LTD pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Winslow Township Fire District request for proposals/bids. The Winslow Township Fire District is permitted to utilize national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of NJSA 52:34 -6.2(b)(3). TAKE NOTICE, The Board of Fire Commissioners anticipates approving this order through resolution at a Special Meeting on June 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., with a comment period ending June 9, 2026. This Meeting will be held in person at the Winslow Township Fire District Administrative Building, 9 Cedar Brook Road, Sicklerville, NJ. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, immediately following, the Board of Fire Commission will hold a Special Meeting and Enter into Closed Session, for Personnel Matters. Official Board Action May be Taken at the return of the Special Meeting. A Workshop Meeting may follow the Special Meeting/Closed Session, to discuss other Fire Department Matters.
