Juan R. Delgado
6/2/1926-7/4/2001
This July 4th marks 25 years since we lost you. Dad, not a day goes by that we do not think of you. While the grief of losing you never truly fades, neither does the love we have for you. Thank you for everything you sacrificed and provided for us. As we celebrate our Nation's 250th Anniversary, we recognize that you belonged to the Greatest Generation the world has ever known! We are so proud of the service, intense patriotism and sacrifice you committed to the U.S. Army, Battery C, 445th Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) Battalion (a highly decorated unit) during WWII. We know now that this unit landed in France shortly after D-Day! Dad, your Family loves you forever! Wife: Tina (deceased); Son: Jon Delgado (Vicki Thorrens); Daughters: Elvia Rivera, Elsa Matta, Irma Acuña and Teresa Barraza; Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and Great-great-grandchildren.
