PUBLIC NOTICE
The Hopewell Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing at a meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the following request in accordance with Article XVII Non-Conforming Uses, of the Hopewell Zoning Ordinance and the Code of Virginia 15.2-2285.
A special use permit request submitted by 1st Renovation RVA to reconstruct a non-conforming structure in its existing footprint on Parcel #023-0435, also identified as 1106 Atlantic St., located in the R-3 Residential High Density District.
Information regarding the above-referenced matter may be examined online at www.hopewellva.gov/cases or in person at the Department of Planning & Development, Municipal Building, 300 N. Main St., Hopewell, Virginia 23860, during normal business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The public is invited to speak at the public hearing or provide written comments to devdept@hopewellva.gov or 300 N. Main Street, c/o Department of Planning & Development, Hopewell, VA 23860. All written comments must be received by Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. to be considered during the public hearing.
