By virtue of and in obedience to a directed to me by the Honorable ASCENSION 23RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF ASCENSION, State of Louisiana, dated: Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shalI proceed to sell at public auction at Governmental Annex 828 South Irma Blvd Gonzales, LA 70737 of which the Civil District Court of the Parish of Ascension is held on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
A CERTAIN LOT OR PARCEL OF GROUND, TOGETHER WITH ALL THE BUILDINGS AND IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED, AND ALL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES THERETO BELONGING, SITUATED IN THE PARISH OF ASCENSION, IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 9 SOUTH, RANGE 4 EAST SOUTHEASTERN LAND DISTRICT OF LOUISIANA, DESIGNATED AS LOT NUMBER 4, (4) OF THE A.M. MARCHAND PROPERTY, ON SURVEY BY D.F. WOODS, C.E. DATED MAY 7, 1949, RECORDED IN FILE NO. 33522 OF ASCENSION PARISH RECORDS, RESURVEYED BY JOHN P. EARLES, III R.L.S. DATED AUGUST 19, 1988, ATTACHED TO AN ACT OF CREDIT SALE OF PROPERTY DATED AUGUST 23, 1988, RECORDED IN FILE NO. 260194 OF ASCENSION PARISH RECORDS, WHEREIN SAID LOT 4 IS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: LOT 4 FRONTS 144.02 FEE ON THE WESTERN BANK OF NEW RIVER BAYOU, HAS A NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF 279.18 FEET, HAS A REAR OR WESTERN BOUNDARY OF 143.22 FEET, AND HAS A SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF 264.0 FEET AND LOT 4 IS SUBJECT TO THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY FOR LA. HWY 936, ALL AS SHOWN BY SAID SURVEY DATED AUGUST 19, 1988; SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS, SERVITUDES, RIGHTS-OF WAY AND OUTSTANDING MINERAL RIGHTS OF RECORD AFFECTING THE PROPERTY.
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of: TWO HUNDRED TWENTY NINE THOUSAND AND HUNDRED NINETEEN DOLLARS AND SIXTY SIX CENTS ($229,019.66) DOLLARS, along with
interest and attorney's fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
