LEGAL NOTICE   COLLECTION OF SCHOOL TAXES – HIGHLAND CENTRAL SCHOOL   Notice is hereby given that the undersigned collector of school taxes, Highland Central School District, Towns of Lloyd, Marlborough, New Paltz, Esopus and Plattekill has received the warrant for collection of taxes and will receive taxes in the following manner: Taxes should be MAILED via USPS to:   SCHOOL TAX COLLECTOR P.O. BOX 1570 BUFFALO, NY 14240-1570   ELECTRONIC CHECK PAYMENTS AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE BEING ACCEPTED THIS YEAR through the Highland Central School District Web Site (refer to the RESOURCES tab on the Website and follow link SCHOOL TAX to access the Highland CSD School Tax Payment). Please note there will be 2.85% of balanced paid fee +$0.40/ transaction for credit card payments, or a $2.50 fee for electronic check payments.   For additional information concerning tax bills, please call the collector at (845) 691-1054.   Tax payments postmarked or submitted electronically from September 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025 are WITHOUT PENALTY; October 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025 includes a 2 % PENALTY as per the tax bill.   After October 31, 2025 taxes cannot be accepted and will be forwarded to Ulster County to be relevied with penalties.
