BY VIRTUE of and to satisfy a WRIT OF SEIZURE OF SALE issued from the Honorable 9th Judicial District Court, and to me directed as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Auctioneer of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, directing and commanding me to seize and sell the property, rights and credits of the defendant, I have seized the following property and will offer for sale to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction on the second floor of the Court House in Alexandria, Louisiana, between the hours prescribed by law, on Wednesday the 24th day of September, 2025 the following property to-wit :
A certain piece, parcel or lot of ground, together with all buildings and improvements thereon and all rights, ways and privileges thereunto belonging or appertaining, being, lying and situated in the City of Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Lousisana, and being more particualrly described as part of Lot No. 1 of Square 56 of Kilpatrick Addition; said lot having a frontage of 65 feet on Albert Street and running back therefrom between parallel lines one of which is Cushman Avenue, a distance of 166.45 feet to the rear, being the indentical property acquired by Dr. Walter B. Corley from Hill-Hayes and Company, Inc. dated December 21, 1921, recorded in Conveyance Book 102, Page 28 of the records of Rapides Parish, Louisiana; and being the same property acquired by Wallace P. Denux and Margaret Herbert Denux from Jo Anna Lewis Corley, widow of Dr. Walter B. Corley, by Act of Cash Sale dated March 11, 1977, and recorded in Conveyance Book 897, Page 632, under original entry #665607, records of Rapides Parish, Louisiana; subject to restrictions, servitudes, rights-of-way and outstanding mineral rights of record affecting the property.
Terms of Sale: FOR CASH "WITH" APPRAISMENT
NOTE: ALL SALES MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO RPSO BY 2:00 PM ON DAY OF SALE. ALL FUNDS MUST BE PAID WITH A CASHIER'S CHECK, CERTIFIED CHECK, OR BANK MONEY ORDER. ANYONE INTERESTED IN BIDDING MUST SUBMIT AN IRREVOCABLE BANK LETTER OF CREDIT TO THE RPSO CIVIL DIVISION PRIOR TO THE SALE.
