NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
In compliance with the Regulations of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40, the "Wetlands Protection Act", and Code of the Town of Marshfield, Chapter 294 Wetlands Protection, a public hearing will be held by the Marshfield Conservation Commission on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. to consider the Request for Determination of Applicability filed by:
Omar Laroussi, 1810 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA to determine, whether the area depicted on plan(s) and/or map(s) referenced below is an area subject to jurisdiction of the Wetland Protection Act, whether the activities (expand patio & add handicap ramp) depicted on the plan(s) is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act and its regulations, and whether the area and/or activities depicted on the plan(s) is subject to the jurisdiction of any municipal wetlands' ordinance or bylaws of the Town of Marshfield at 1810 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA (H08-04-09)(John).
The public hearing will be conducted at the Marshfield Town Hall, the Select Board's Chamber, 2nd Floor, 870 Moraine Street, Marshfield, Massachusetts. The Commission also informs the public that this public hearing may be conducted remotely as a consequence of the current public health emergency. The applicant and all interested parties are advised to check the Town website and/or Conservation Commission homepage for additional information and details.
The Request for Determination of Applicability may be viewed upon request electronically made to the Conservation Commission.
