NEW CASTLE COUNTY Department of Administration Notice & Invitation to Bid CAVALIERS FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT Sealed bids are invited for the installation of proposed 1,155 linear feet of force main, maintenance of traffic, restoration and erosion & sediment control as described in the specifications and on the project drawings. To accommodate the award of this project item quantities are identified in the Proposal contained in the specifications. The work is located on the property of Cavaliers Country Club Apartments, Churchmans Road, New Castle County, Delaware. ALCOHOL & DRUG TESTING New Castle County Code, Section 2.05.305 requires contractors and subcontractors to implement a mandatory alcohol & drug testing program for their employees who work pursuant to a Public Works contract. Included in the specifications for this project is an affidavit certifying compliance with the County Code. This affidavit must be executed and submitted with the bid. Failure to submit the affidavit by that time shall result in the County's inability to consider your bid for award. Forms submitted by facsimile will not be accepted. All bidders must comply with the SBE Program by either (i) satisfying the Project Goal through utilization of an SBE to perform work under the contract; or (ii) demonstrate their good faith effort to obtain SBE participation in the contract.
