NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF AMES, IOWA 2025/26 SHARED USE PATH MAINTENANCE CONTRACT NO. 1 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, will meet on September 23, 2025, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa, at 6:00 p.m., at which time it will hear objections to the plans, specifications, form of contract, and cost estimate for the 2025/26 Shared Use Path Maintenance Contract No. 1. The general nature of the work is: 98,160 square feet of shared use path sealcoating, 98,160 square feet of crack sealing, asphalt mastic, and full depth repair of shared use paths across the City of Ames and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents.
