NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS
Notice is hereby given the Canandaigua City School District has received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the 2025-2026 school year and will collect such taxes for 92 days beginning October 1, 2025.
Checks may be made payable to Canandaigua City School District School Tax Collector, Ontario County Treasurers Office, 20 Ontario Street – 2nd Floor, Canandaigua, NY 14424
Taxes may be paid online via the Ontario County website. www.ontariocountyny.gov
Taxes may be paid in person at any branch of Canandaigua National Bank during the month of October ONLY. Canandaigua National Bank will only accept full payments. The bank will not accept any payments after the close of business on October 31st. In person payments may also be made at the Ontario County Treasurers Office, 20 Ontario Street – 2nd Floor during the months of October, November, and December during the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Taxes may be paid in either one payment or in two installments:
One Payment Plan: Taxes may be paid with no penalty beginning October 1st, and ending October 31st. A 1% penalty from November 1st through December 1st will be charged. A 3% penalty from December 2nd through December 31st will be charged.
Two Installment Payment Plan: The first payment MUST be made no later than October 31st. The second payment may be paid in November with 1% interest added OR in December with 3% interest added.
