Notice of Public Hearing On a Proposed Cable Television Franchise Agreement The Fort Collins City Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meetings on September 16, 2025, and October 7, 2025, both at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 300 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, to consider an application for a cable television franchise by Comcast of California/Colorado, LLC (Comcast). The proposed franchise would replace the current franchise, which expires this year. The franchise would give Comcast the non-exclusive right to use City rights-of-way for its cable system for 10 years, in exchange for which Comcast would pay the City a franchise fee equal to five percent of Comcast’s gross revenues from its operations in Fort Collins. Copies of the franchise agreement describing additional terms and conditions of the proposed franchise are available on the City’s website at http://www.fcgov.com/cable14/franchise.php. Any interested person may attend this public hearing and present information and/or opinions related thereto. Individuals who wish to address Council via remote public participation can do so through Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/98241416497.
