LEGAL NOTICE TAX COLLECTION NOTICE: Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Owen D. Young Central School District, Herkimer, Otsego and Montgomery Counties, that the Warrant for the collection of school taxes, as per Sec. 425 of State Education Law, has been received for the Towns of Stark, Warren, Columbia, Danube, German Flatts, Little Falls, Minden and Springfield. Taxes will be received September 2, 2025 through September 30, 2025 without penalty. A 2% penalty fee will be charged starting October 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025. All taxes remaining unpaid by the close of business on October 31, 2025 will be returned to the County Treasurer for collection. Taxes will be received in person at Owen D Young CSD, during regular school hours, or by mail to ODY Tax Collector, Owen D Young CSD, PO Box 2521, Buffalo, NY 14240-2521. Property owners not receiving a tax bill should contact the Tax Collector. Non-receipt of a tax bill does not remove the owner’s obligation to pay such tax.
