NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN INTERPRETATION AND/OR A USE VARIANCE IN THE ALTERNATIVE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Nikki Shah & Associates LLC ("Applicant") has applied to the Laurel Springs Combined Land Use Board ("Land Use Board") for an interpretation and/or a use variance pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70.d in connection with the property located at 619 Laurel Road, Laurel Springs, New Jersey, also designated as Block 55, Lot 1.04 on the Laurel Springs Tax Map. The property is situated within Laurel Spring's PO/R Zoning District. The Applicant specifically seeks an interpretation that an existing mixed-used building with an office and apartment residence on the first floor and an apartment residence on the second floor is a permitted use. In the alternative, the Applicant seeks a use variance to permit the same. The Applicant has also applied for any and all other variances, waivers, interpretations and relief deemed necessary by the Land Use Board.
This application has been scheduled for a hearing before Land Use Board on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Laurel Springs Borough Hall, which is located at 723 West Atlantic Avenue, Laurel Springs, New Jersey 08021. You may appear in person or by attorney to present any testimony or objections in regard to the application. Please note that Land Use Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue the hearing on this application from time to time. In this regard you are advised to make a diligent inquiry concerning any such adjournments, postponements, or continuations with Land Use Board Secretary Dawn T.
