ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Directors, Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, 1319 Third St. NW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 30, 2025 for the Atwood Pines Tree Removal Project as set forth in Bidding Documents on file. At said time and place, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project work:

Bidding Documents can be obtained at the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) Main Office, 1319 Third St. NW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663, or electronically by emailing skandel@mwcd.org.
Any questions shall be directed to Daniel Louwers, MWCD, no later than 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in writing by email at dlouwers@mwcd.org, or by fax to 1.330.364.4161.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) Annex Office, 2050 Reiser Avenue, SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663. Any bidder interested in accessing the site to perform their own site investigations must call Sue Kandel, MWCD at (330) 556-4815 to arrange a date and time to access the site.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/ or to award at any time during the period.
State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Carroll County will be applicable to this project. Current prevailing wage rates are available at the Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance website (see link below). Registration is required to look up current wage rates by county.

The MWCD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease or omit any item or items and/ or to award to the lowest and most responsible, responsive bidder. The MWCD also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received.
