ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Town of Dennis is seeking bids for the SESUIT HARBOR IMPROVEMENTS project. The harbor offices are located at 351 Sesuit Neck Road, Dennis MA. The scope of services shall include site demolition and amenities, new parking lots, toilet facilities, Harbormaster offices and a workshop along with associated finishes, mechanical and electrical trades.
This bid is subject to the requirements set forth in M.G.L Chapter 149. Attention is called to the requirement for paying prevailing wage rates on this project. A complete list of prevailing wages is included in the specifications.
All bidders shall provide 5% bid deposit with their bids. The successful contractor shall provide the Town with a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond upon issuance of the notice of award. The successful contractor shall also provide the Town with certificates of insurance listing the Town of Dennis as “Additional Insured” and providing the coverages outlined in the specifications.
This project is being electronically bid on the Projectdog web platform. All bids (filed-sub and general) will be submitted through Projectdog, no hard copy bids will be accepted. A Pre-Bid Conference at the project site on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at 10:00 am. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend.
All bidders agree that their bids shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
