NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING APPROPRIATION OF PROCEEDS OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE INDIANAPOLIS-MARION COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY AND INTEREST EARNINGS THEREON The taxpayers of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library, Indiana (the "Public Library"), are hereby notified that the Board of Trustees of the Public Library (the "Board") adopted on July 28, 2025, Resolution 25-2025 (the "2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Resolution") authorizing the issuance of one or more series of general obligation bonds of the Public Library in an original aggregate principal amount not to exceed Fifteen Million Dollars ($15,000,000) (collectively, the "2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Bonds") for the purpose of procuring funds to pay for the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project (as defined in the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Resolution) and the costs of issuance of the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Bonds. Taxpayers of the Public Library are further notified that the City-County Council of the City of Indianapolis and of Marion County, Indiana (the "City-County Council"), will hold a public hearing during the City-County Council meeting that will occur on September 22, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. (local time), in the Council Chamber of the City-County Building, which is located at 200 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, on the matter of appropriating the proceeds of the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Bonds and investment earnings thereon in an amount not to exceed Nineteen Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($19,800,000) to pay for the costs of the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project (the "2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Appropriation"). Said appropriations are in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy of the Public Library. Funds to cover the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Appropriation are to be provided from the proceeds of the 2025-2026 Multi-Facility Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment Update Project Bonds and investment earnings thereon.
