PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWNSHIP of OCEAN
Harborside Business Park LLC (the "Applicant") has made application to the Ocean Township Zoning Board of Adjustment (the "Board") for a one-year extension of final site plan approval, and associated variances and design waivers, relative to proposed development at the property designated as Lot 17 in Block 195 on the Tax Map of the Township of Ocean, located at 19 Main Street, Waretown, New Jersey. In a Resolution dated August 19, 2021, the Board granted preliminary and final site plan approval, along with a use variance and bulk variances, for the construction of contractors' offices and a warehouse.
In a Resolution dated October 17, 2024 the Board granted a two-year extension of the final site plan approval to August 19, 2025. The Applicant purchased the subject property on February 3, 2025. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-52(a), the Applicant is now requesting a one-year extension of the final site plan approval to August 19, 2026.
While the Applicant does not believe that any additional variances are required, any additional variances and/or waivers deemed necessary or appropriate by the Board will be requested at the hearing.
A public hearing has been scheduled for September 18, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ocean Township Town Hall, 50 Railroad Avenue, Waretown, New Jersey 08758, at which time any interested persons may appear and have an opportunity to be heard on this application.
Documents pertaining to this application are available for inspection by the public Monday through Friday during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Zoning Board of Adjustment office, 50 Railroad Avenue, Waretown, NJ 08758.
