VARIANCE 2025-23
Burchette Sign, applicant, on behalf of Dan Bland, lessee, are requesting a variance to seek relief from Pender County Unified Development Ordinance standards outlined in Article 9.11, Outdoor Advertising Signs Allowed Only Along Interstate 40. Specifically, the request is to allow an on-premise advertising structure for Transource Volvo to be placed within 1,500 feet of the Interstate 40 right-of-way and to allow the maximum height requirement of 25 feet to be exceeded by an additional 25 feet for increased visibility. The subject property is within the GB, General Business, zoning district and is located at 104-A Daisy Scott Road northeast of the intersection of Interstate 40 and NC Highway 210.
