Collector's Notice   Take notice, I Receiver of Taxes for the Central Valley Central School District, have duly received the 2025-2026 tax roll and warrant. I will be collecting 2025-2026 Central Valley CSD taxes weekdays 9:30 am to 4:00 pm Sept. 2 thru Oct. 31 at the Town Office Building, 66 E. Main St, Mohawk. Closed Sept 1 and Oct 13 for holidays. Cash or checks only. Take further notice that taxes may be paid on or before September 30th without penalty. After September 30th, a 2% penalty is charged. After October 31, 2025, this office will be closed and school taxes are payable to the Herkimer County Treasurer until November 14, 2025.   Failure to receive a tax bill does not in any way affect the property owner's obligation to pay such tax or interest.
