NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING POLK TOWNSHIP ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE REQUIRING A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY AND INSPECTION   The Board of Supervisors for Polk Township shall hold a Public Hearing on September 22, 2025, at 5:45 p.m. at the Polk Township Municipal Building located at 165 Polk Township Road, Kresgeville, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of considering the adoption of an Ordinance requiring a Certificate of Occupancy and Inspection prior to change of ownership. The Ordinance would require the owner of a building to notify the Township of any change of ownership on a form to be provided. The Code Enforcement Officer would conduct an inspection to determine compliance with the Polk Township Zoning Code and any other ordinances of the Township. The inspection would also confirm a street address number posted. The owner would be advised of any non-compliance and would be required to bring the property into compliance before change of ownership unless an alternative arrangement is approved by the Township. Re-inspection shall be done after remedial work. A complete copy of the proposed Ordinance is available during regular business hours at the Polk Township Municipal Building. Any and all interested citizens are invited to attend.
