PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Auburn Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in the Select Board Meeting Room of the Town Hall, 104 Central Street, Auburn, MA on the following proposed amendments to the Auburn Zoning Bylaw:
7:00pm Applicant Fruit and Veggie Place requesting Site Plan Approval under section 3.2.5.29 of the Auburn Zoning Bylaw for a market at 284 Southbridge Street, Auburn, MA 01501, Map 25 Parcel 24.
7:05pm Applicant Todd Ostrokolowicz- Quality Contracting requesting Site Plan Approval modification under section 9.4 of the Auburn Zoning Bylaw to add two commercial buildings and other site improvements at 282 Southbridge Street, Auburn, MA 01501, Map 25 Parcel 25.
7:10pm Amendments to Section 3.8 and 3.9 of the Auburn Zoning Bylaw. Proposed changes include deletion of 3.8.1 Earth Removal, 3.9.4.6 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, and 3.9.5.1 removing the requirement for permitting a Farmer’s Market with a Special Permit.
7:15pm Amendments to the Zoning Bylaw to meet MBTA Community compliance include the addition of multifamily 3.2.2.3 as a separate use, exempt apartments and multifamily from special permits in the 4.1 floodplain and 4.3 aquifer district while still requiring adherence to the bylaw.
