PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CITY OF WHITE PLAINS, NEW YORK   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at the September 2, 2025 Regular Stated Meeting of the Common Council, the Common Council scheduled a public hearing for October 6, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber, 255 Main Street, White Plains, New York to consider the adoption of Local Law Introductory No. 4 for 2025, entitled “A LOCAL LAW AUTHORIZING THE DISCONTINUANCE OF BROOKFIELD STREET AND THE SALE OF SUCH LANDS ASSOCIATED THEREWITH.”   The purpose of the Local Law is to authorize the discontinuance of Brookfield Street, a small street running north from East Post Road and dead-ending at land owned by the White Plains Housing Authority known as Brookfield Commons.
