NOTICE OF INTENT AND PUBLIC HEARING ON AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3.45, ENTERPRISE ZONE OF TITLE 3, REVENUE AND FINANCE OF THE STAUNTON CITY CODE TO AMEND INCENTIVES AND BOUNDARIES RELATED TO THE STAUNTON ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM  A public hearing will be held during the regular meeting of Staunton City Council at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, on whether or not to adopt an ordinance amending Staunton City Code Chapter 3.45 to modify various provisions related to the Staunton Enterprise Zone Program including the boundaries and incentives of the program. The hearing will be held in Council Chambers, first floor of City Hall, 116 West Beverley Street, Staunton, Virginia. The proposed ordinance is authorized by, among other considerations, Staunton City Charter Section 11 and Virginia Code Section 59.1-538, et seq. A true and complete copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection during normal working hours at the office of the Clerk of Council and at the office of the City Manager. It also will be part of the Council’s meeting agenda material posted at https://www.ci.staunton.va.us/agendas-minutes. All persons wishing to be heard at the public hearings are invited to attend. The public may also participate in the public hearings by Zoom, or by phone.
