LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Coolbaugh Township will consider the Amended Conditional Use Application for the Messer Cylinder Filling Plant of Messer LLC at a public hearing to be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Building, 5520 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania 18466. The above-referenced Amended Conditional Use Application is for the proposed amendment to the previously approved conditional use for the Messer Cylinder Filling Plant on the Applicant's property within the C-2 Zoning District pursuant to the Coolbaugh Township Zoning Ordinance. The location of the existing Industry use is at the intersection of Route 611 and Corporate Center Drive East, Coolbaugh Township, PA, also known as Monroe County Tax No. 03635600452002 and Monroe County Parcel No. 03.6.1.7-3, consisting of property owned by Messer LLC along Corporate Center Drive. The Applicant, Messer LLC, filed the Amended Conditional Use Application in accordance with Section 400-127 of the Coolbaugh Township Zoning Ordinance and has requested approval for the proposed amendment to the September 17, 2019 Conditional Use Approval for its existing Industry use on the above-referenced property. The instant Amended Conditional Use Application proposes to expand the existing business to allow for the Industry use on an additional four (4) acres of land acquired by Messer LLC and the addition of certain chemicals and/or gases used in Messer LLC's chemical product manufacturing processes on the above-referenced property in association with the existing Industry use. A copy of the Amended Conditional Use Application may be viewed at the Township Building during regular business hours at the above-referenced address. The public hearing on this Amended Conditional Use Application shall take place at the above-referenced time and place before the Board of Supervisors of Coolbaugh Township and all interested parties and the public are welcome to attend. The Board of Supervisors will consider testimony and evidence at the above-referenced October 17, 2025 public hearing and may take action on the same at that time.
