Let it be known that approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of this board meeting it was discovered that the technology involving the live-stream and room cameras malfunctioned. The meeting was videotaped and will be uploaded to our video streaming site. Notices of the lack of live-stream availability were posted on BoardDocs, district website (pop-up), and district social media immediately and prior to the meeting starting.

The communications report and media activity for the month of May was presented.
B. Superintendent's Report (Cory Hirsbrunner)
C. Hirsbrunner, Superintendent, offered a brief recap of the end-of-year activities that occured around the district.
Thank you to the staff, students, family, and community for a successful school year filled with many celebrations.
Congratulations to Steve Van Ark being named Hot 96.7 Teacher of the Year and to the Badger Boys State Delegate winners, Ben and Teddy. Summer school will start June 16 and an update of enrollment was given.
Thank you to Marshfield Clinic Health Systems for the $5,600 donation for after school group therapy sessions. G. Pope offered legislative updates. M. Erler thanked all the behind the scene employees for their hard work on all the
district graduation ceremonies.

M. Mercer gave an overview of the June 2 meeting.
B. Approval of the Preliminary 2025-26 Budget
Mike Kurtz, Ed.D., CSRM Finance Manager, presented the preliminary budget and answered the Board's questions.
This is an annual item that allows the District to continue operations and development of final budget until it is presented to the Board in October.
Motion (Sommers/Scheder) to approve the adoption of the Preliminary 2025-26 Budget as presented. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

B. End of Year Data Report
Darla Peanasky, Elementary Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator and Jeff Mlsna, Director of Secondary Education, presented reading and math data updates from this school year as well as answered Board questions.
C. K-6 ELA Resource Professional Development Plan
C. Hirsbrunner, Superintendent, presented an update on the K-6 ELA professional development plan for the
upcoming school year.

A. Disproportionality in Special Education & Special Education Performance Indicators Jennie McMahon, Director of Student Services, presented on the annual report regarding compliance with special education federal requirements and performance indicators. She presented on where the District needs improvement and has made growth. Board questions were answered by the presenter.

A. Climate Survey Results
Sarah O'Donnell, Director of Communications, presented on the climate surveys from both the family and staff results. She shared that this is a point-in-time picture of the District stakeholders and we use this data to measure climate, culture, and performance of strategic initiatives currently in place.
