PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will reconvene the formally noticed Conflict Assessment Meeting with the City of Port St. Joe on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 3 p.m. pursuant to §164.1053 from which the initial conflict meeting was first recessed on September 10, 2025 and shall reconvene by mutual consent and agreement of both the City of Port Joe and Gulf County, Florida to further discuss resolution of Gulf County, Florida formal opposition and challenges to the City of Port St. Joe, Florida Ordinances 618 and 619. This Conflict Assessment Meeting to reconvene is noticed in accordance with Florida Statute §164.1031(7). Specifically, Gulf County had initiated the conflict resolution procedures and thereafter publicly noticed the date and time for the initial meeting during which the issue was addressed by the interested parties pursuant to Florida Statute and during which other matters were addressed in public by the two parties including but not limited to:
Gulf County, Florida Resolutions 2025-43 and 2025-44 in response to City of Port St. Joe Ordinances 618 and 619 (Conflict Assessment Meeting)
The reconvened meeting will be held during the Gulf County Board of County Commissioner's Conflict Assessment Special on Monday, September 22, 2025 called for 3:00 p.m. EST to be held in the Donald H. Butler Commissioner Chamber and meeting room in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida pursuant to Florida Statutes §164.1031(7), §197.3632 and §125.
If a person decides to appeal any decisions made by the Gulf County Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, he/she will need a record of the proceedings and that for such purpose he/she may need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings made and which would include any evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
