PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of West Manchester Township, York County, PA, will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the Code of the Township of West Manchester, Zoning, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the West Manchester Township offices, 380 East Berlin Rd, York, PA. The Ordinance proposing the amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the Township of West Manchester is entitled, "A ZONING ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT THE PURPOSES AND INTENT OF PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AS DEFINED AND AUTHORIZED BY ARTICLE VII OF THE PA MUNICIPALITIES PLANNING CODE.” The proposed amendment establishes a planned residential development overlay district within the Township, amends the Township zoning map accordingly, and sets forth standards and regulations for planned residential developments. The Board of Supervisors will consider the amendment for adoption at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board immediately following the aforesaid hearing. A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be examined without charge at the Township offices during normal business hours. A copy of the proposed Ordinance has been filed with the York Newspapers and the York Law Research Center, 45 N George St, York PA. Interested citizens are invited to attend the aforesaid public hearing and the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of West Manchester Township immediately following the public hearing and offer comments on the proposed amendment.
