PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given to all interested parties, the City of Petersburg Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 25, 2025, beginning at 2 PM, in the Petersburg Public Library, Multi-Purpose Room, located at 201 W. Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 to hear the following cases: 25-VAR-01: A petition from Donna Olienyk for a variance of the lot area requirements at 123 Bollingbrook Street, Petersburg, Virginia. The applicant is requesting a variance of the lot area requirements to the property for a mixed-use development including multi-family dwelling. The applicant is intending to add to the interior of the already standing structure. 2025-VAR-02: A request from Kishan Patel of Woodspring Suites for a variance of Article 21 Section 9 9.4. The applicant is seeking to increase the amount of allowed signage at 3657 S Crater Rd. The maximum amount of signage allowed in the B2- General Commercial zoning district is 150 square feet. The applicant would like to install an additional 240 square feet of signage for the hotel at the property.
