NOTICE OF ELECTION PUBLIC NOTICE OF CITY OF AVONDALE Notice is hereby given that the City of Avondale will hold a Special Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. At the Special Election, the qualified electors of the City shall vote on the following measures: Proposition 404 - Shall the City of Avondale, Arizona be authorized to issue and sell up to $68,000,000 general obligation bonds for parks, recreation and library projects? The issuance of these bonds will result in a property tax increase sufficient to pay annual debt service on the bonds. Proposition 405 - Shall the City of Avondale, Arizona be authorized to issue and sell up to $55,000,000 general obligation bonds for public safety and court projects? The issuance of these bonds will result in a property tax increase sufficient to pay annual debt service on the bonds. A ballot box will be available inside the lobby at Avondale City Hall at 11465 W Civic Center Dr, Avondale, AZ 85323 starting October 8, 2025. This election will be held in conjunction with Maricopa County elections and replacement ballot sites will be determined by Maricopa County.
