METER CHANGEOUTS
HENDERSON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT

Sealed BIDS for meter changeouts will be received by the Henderson County Water District at 655 S Main St, Henderson, KY 42420 until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025.
Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all bids, which have been submitted in accordance with the above conditions, will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The services to be bid on is meter changeouts for Henderson County Water District. Bids should be submitted for changing out meters that are direct-bury AND meters that are on setters. New Neptune Mach 10 (5/8” x ¾”, 1”, 2”, 4”, etc.) Meters will be provided by Henderson County Water District. Meters that are being replaced will need to be returned to Henderson County Water District.
Sealed proposals for the contract shall be clearly marked on the outside of the container as follows:

Not to be opened until 10:00 AM CST on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025.
If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope and mailed to the Henderson County Water District at 655 S Main St, Henderson, KY 42420 allowing sufficient time for such mailing to reach this address prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals.
The Henderson County Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to waive any formalities and any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected.
Bidders must comply with the President’s Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must COMPLY WITH Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, Section 3 Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act.
Bidders must certify that they do not, and will not, maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed or national origin.
Federal law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, age, handicap and sex in this project. Minority firms are encouraged to participate.
