The Bids received will be opened and read at a special meeting at 8:30 am central time on October 9, 2025, at the Wewahitchka Fire Station located at 109 South 2nd Street in Wewahitchka, Florida 32465. There will be a mandatory prebid meeting hosted at the Wewahitchka Fire Station located at 109 South 2nd Street in Wewahitchka, Florida 32465 on October 1, 2025, at 10:30a.m. central time. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory, any bids submitted without attending the meeting will be rejected. Project Description: The project consists of a city-wide wastewater upgrade including replacing 3 lift stations, removing and replacing 80 manholes, repairing 89 manholes (lining, repairing chimney/ring, etc.), and the removal and replacement of approximately 1670 linear feet of terracotta gravity sewer lines. The project will include temporary bypassing/pumping of areas under construction to maintain full operation of the system. This project is grant funded with an approximate budget of $6.97 million in construction costs remaining. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. This Bid and the award hereof are also subject to all provisions of the Purchasing Policy of the City of Wewahitchka. To the extent of any conflict between these documents and the City's Purchasing Policy, the provisions of the City's Purchasing Policy will control.
