PUBLIC NOTICE The Commander, Southeast Coast Guard District, has received an application from TY Lin on behalf of Sanibel, Florida requesting approval of the location and plans for the replacement of the East Periwinkle bridge over Shell Harbor Canal, mile 0.959, on Periwinkle Way, at Sanibel, FL. The project proposes replacing the existing fixed two-lane bridge with a fixed two-lane bridge. The bridge needs to be replaced due to damage from Hurricane Ian. The existing bridge will be removed in its entirety.
