TOWNSHIP OF TOBYHANNA INVITATION FOR BIDS   Sealed bids are being accepted by the Township of Tobyhanna at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building, 105 Government Center Way, Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania for the 2025-26 Tree Trimming/Tree Removal Services.   Bid packages may be picked up at the Municipal Building during regular weekday business hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Bids must be received no later than 1:00 PM on Thursday October 9, 2025 at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building, 105 Government Center Way, Pocono Pines, PA 18350, local prevailing times. The bids will be opened publicly at said time and place. The Board of Supervisors will consider awarding of a bid at their regular business meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025. It is the complete responsibility of the contractors to ensure that the Township has received their bids by the date and time specified, and the Township assumes no responsibility for bids mailed but not received.   All bids shall be accompanied by a proposal security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond, naming as payee the Township of Tobyhanna.   The Township expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, to accept the bid, which is in the best interest of the Township.   All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof.   Any and all questions shall be made to the Township of Tobyhanna, 105 Government Center Way, Pocono Pines, PA 18350, or by phone at 570-646-1212.
