CEDAR STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS TOWN OF STURBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS   Sealed bids for CEDAR STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS will be received at the Town Administrator’s office, Town of Sturbridge, 308 Main Street Sturbridge, MA 01566, until 1:00 P.M. eastern daylight time on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All proposals must be in sealed envelopes bearing the bid title, date, time of bid opening, and bidders name and address. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway Construction OR Highway Sidewalk and Curbing for the project with an estimated value of $438,617.00 will be required. The work under this Contract consists of constructing pedestrian improvements for 1/4 mile on the east side of Cedar Street from The Bird Store, 4 Cedar Street to Burgess School Road. The work under this contract consists of constructing ce-ment concrete sidewalk, cement concrete driveway aprons, HMA driveway, new granite curbing, pedestrian curb ramps, crosswalks, construction of a midblock pedestrian crossing with solar-powered Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB), and other incidental work.
