ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTH HIGHLAND PARK IMPROVEMENTS REBID FOR THE CITY OF PRATTVILLE, ALABAMA BID NO. 025-009A Sealed bids for North Highland Park Improvements Rebid will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 W. Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 10:00 AM CST on Thursday, October 9, 2025, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. CST in the Auditorium at the Doster Community Center, 424 South Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067. A summary of the work items is included below: Improvement of existing basketball facilities, retaining walls, access features, fencing, and site grading/landscaping at North Highland Park in Prattville, Alabama. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposal forms made available by the Engineer. Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the Quest Construction Data Network at www.questcdn.com utilizing the Reference Quest Number 9882445 for a fee of $22.00. For the duration of the advertisement period, a list of plan holders may be found at www.krebseng.com or at www.questcdn.com. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville, Alabama, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany each of the bidder's separate sealed proposal. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of Contract to them. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived). Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
