REQUEST BIDS FOR SNOWPLOWING SERVICES FOR LOGANVILLE BOROUGH
Sealed bids shall be received by Loganville Borough’s Solicitor, CGA Law Firm at 135 N George Street, York, PA 17401, until 4:00PM on October 5, 2025. The bids will subsequently be publicly opened, read, and awarded at a regular meeting of the Loganville Borough Council held 260 W Ore St., Seven Valleys, PA 17360 on October 6, 2025 at 7:00PM. All bid envelopes must be sealed with “BID FOR SNOWPLOWING SERVICES FOR LOGANVILLE BOROUGH” plainly marked on the outside of the envelope and delivered to the attention of Loganville Borough. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from Loganville Borough by (717) 428-3938 or CGA Law Firm at (717) 848-4900. The work for which the bids are being solicited is for provision of vehicles and labor required for snowplowing designated roads in the Borough as required between November 1, 2025 and October 31, 2026. The Borough shall have the option to extend the contract for three (3) additional years. The bid submitted should be for price per hour for driver and truck with a minimum of ten 10’ foot wide blade. All other equipment must also be priced. Service providers will be required to respond to the Borough’s request for plowing services within four (4) hours of notification. The successful bidder must be willing to provide proof of insurance and sign an agreement of indemnity with the Borough. A surety bond, certified or cashier's check, or a bank money order in the amount of five hundred ($500) dollars must accompany all bids as security for performance by the successful bidder. The Borough reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities and the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof.
