NOTICE TO BIDDERS AND ADVERTISEMENT VARIOUS RENOVATIONS PERSEUS HOUSE CHARTER SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE Sealed proposals will be received by Perseus House, 1511 Peach Street, Erie, PA, c/o Dan Mastrian, Workforce Administrator, until Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM prevailing time and will be immediately opened and read aloud for the above listed project. Proposals will be received for the following work: General ConstructionMechanical ConstructionElectrical Construction Bids are to be addressed to Dan Mastrian, Workforce Administrator, Perseus House Charter School of Excellence, 1511 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16501 and shall be forwarded in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Various Renovations Perseus House Charter School of Excellence” along with the bidder’s name and bid discipline (General, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier’s or trust company treasurer’s check or approved surety company’s bid bond, made payable to the Perseus House Charter School of Excellence in an amount of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the base bid. An electronic link for Plans and Specifications may be obtained by prospective bidders by contacting the office of the Architect, Roth Marz Partnership, Inc., 3505 Chapin Street, Erie, PA 16508. Prospective bidders must include company name, contact person and email address for the electronic link to be released. There will be a pre-bid meeting and walk thru at the site located at 1511 Peach Street (Leadership Center) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM. This is a project constituting Public Works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, Act 442 as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum rates as promulgated under provisions of said Act and must be paid by all Contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set forth in the opening of bids. Perseus House Charter School of Excellence reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept or reject any part of the bids.
