NOTICE TO BIDDERS RED LION AREA JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WINDOW REPLACEMENT FOR RED LION AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the Owner at Red Lion Area School District Administration Building at 696 Delta Road, Red Lion, PA 17356. Bids will be received until 11:00 AM local time on Tuesday, 14 October 2025. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at that time. A single prime bid will be received for General Construction Work. Copies of bidding documents may be obtained from the Architect, RLPS Architects 250 Valleybrook Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601, telephone (717) 560-9501. Documents can be requested through the Architect's website at: https://www.rlps.com/contact/ Bidders will be issued digital PDF files of the bidding documents free of charge. A prebid conference will be held at 3:00 PM, local time on Thursday 2 October 2025 at Red Lion Area Junior High School – 200 Country Club Road , Red Lion , PA 17356 . Prospective bidders are requested to attend. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish to the School District a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the bid, as required by the "Public Works Contractors' Bond Law of 1967" and in a form acceptable to the Owner. This project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act No. 442 as amended. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date established for receipt of bids. No cash allowances are included in the project.
