Contact: Mike Fountas FOR RELEASE: 9-19-25 Gronewold, Bell, Kyhnn & Co. P.C. today released an audit report on the South Dallas County Landfill Agency. The Agency had total operating receipts of $1,390,436 for the year ended June 30, 3025, a 12.7 percent decrease from 2024. The receipts included gate fees of $1,351,718 and member assessment of $38,718. Operating disbursements for the year totaled $759,342, a 5.5 percent decrease from the prior year, and included $366,532 for salaries and benefits, solid waste contract costs of $63,421, and $44,934 for Iowa DNR tonnage fees. In addition, the Agency had net non-operating disbursements of $209,370 that included $373,838 of investment income and $589,924 for capital outlay.
