LEGAL NOTICE Pursuant to Section 9-16-70 et seq., Alabama Code, 1975, Cahaba Resources, LLC., Carter West Mine, hereby gives notice that it has filed a Phase III, bond release application with the Alabama Surface Mining Commission for release of performance bond for Permit P-3995-63-24-S, Increments 1 & 6. The area of land for which bond release is requested consists of 43.0 acres in Increment 1, and 6.0 acres in Increment 6 located in: NW/SE, NE/SW and SE/SW of Section 34, Township 20 South, Range 8 West, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The permittee maintains that as of 09/16/2025, all requirements involving re-grading, planting and growing times of the area has been completed in compliance with State Law and Regulations and the approved reclamation plan. The permittee, therefore, is requesting release of $21,500.00 of the performance bond $21,500.00 for Increment 1 and $3,000.00 of the performance bond $3,000.00 for Increment 6.
