PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE   Notice is hereby given that the City of Hendersonville City Council will hold three public hearings on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 5:45 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible in the City Operations Assembly Room located at 305 Williams Street, Hendersonville NC to consider the following:   I. Conditional Zoning District – Compleat KiDZ (25-60-CZD) – Application for a Conditional Zoning District from Kathryn Thomas with Kare Partners - Compleat KiDZ, applicant. The applicant is requesting to rezone the subject properties, PINs 9569-40-3593 and 9569-40-2580 and located at 913 9th Avenue W, from PID-CZD, Planned Institutional Development Conditional Zoning District to MIC CZD, Medical, Institutional, and Cultural Conditional Zoning District for the development of a medical office building.   II. Zoning Text Amendment – Parking and Lot Size (25-55-ZTA) – An application for a zoning text amendment from Sarah Schafer of Watermark Landscape Architecture, PLLC to eliminate minimum lot size requirements and to allow on-street parking spaces to count towards meeting the required parking minimums as required in Section 6.5.   III. Zoning Map Amendment – Standard Rezoning – 824 Locust Street (25-58-RZO) – Application for a standard rezoning from Hailey Lamoreux and Daniel Huggins, property owners, to rezone 824 Locust St (PIN 9569-80-2471) and a city-initiated rezoning for consenting property owners to rezone (PIN’s 9569-80-4238, 9569-80-3335 and 9569-80-2395) from I-1, Industrial to CMU, Central Mixed Use.   Digital/written public hearing comments must be received twenty-four hours prior to the meeting (by 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025) to be considered by the City Council and must comply with security criteria in the Council’s Public Comment Policy, available on the City’s website.   Public hearing comments will also be accepted during the meeting from those attending in person and from those participating live via ZOOM at the designated time at this meeting. For security reasons screen sharing will not be allowed.
