NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned has made application to the Zoning Board Adjustment of the Township of Neptune for a single family dwelling with associated bulk variance relief, pursuant to NJSA 40:55D-70.c. On premises located at 402 Morrisey Avenue known as Block 5002, Lot 8 on the Tax Map, which is within 200 feet or property owned by you.
Applicant seeks approval to construct a second story addition and covered porch on the existing dwelling and new walkway to meet existing driveway, as well as relocating existing shed to a compliant location.
The existing front yard setback is an existing non-conforming condition. The setback is 14.5 FT, where 20 FT is required. The second story addition will meet the existing 14.5 FT front yard setback.
The proposed front yard setback to the proposed covered porch is 12.11 FT, and the existing porch front yard setback is 14.2 FT, where 20 FT is required. A variance is requested.
The existing rear yard setback for the existing shed is 4.7 FT, where 5 FT is required. The Applicant will relocate the shed to a compliant location, eliminating this existing non-conforming condition.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Neptune will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time at Town Hall, located at 25 Neptune Boulevard, Neptune, New Jersey at which time you may appear in person, by agent or attorney and present any objection which you may have to the granting of this application.
Applicant also expressly makes application for any additional exceptions, waivers, variances, interpretations and other approvals as reflected on the filed plans (as same may be further amended from time to time without further notice) and as may be determined to be necessary by the Board during the review and processing of the application. All plans, maps and papers regarding this application are on file in the Zoning Board of Adjustment office and are available for inspection during normal business hours.
This notice is served upon you by order of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, pursuant to NJSA 40:55D-12.
