The City of Oshkosh Inspection Services Division inspected the premises located at 322 W 6th Avenue, Oshkosh, WI, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, parcel number 909-0245, more particularly described as follow (hereinafter "Property"):
Lot 20 of Block 63 in the plat of the ORIGINAL THIRD WARD, in the Ninth Ward, City of Oshkosh, per Leach's Map of 1894.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority set forth in Wis. Stat. § 66.0413(2)(b), the following defects makes the Property a public nuisance:
• Dilapidated entryways – The steps to the back door are missing. One handrail and guardrail to the front door is broken and one is missing.
• Dilapidated basement entry – There is an opening/hole in the driveway that leads to the basement. Currently, it is only covered with a sheet of plywood and there is no door, visible steps, or means of properly securing this opening.
• Dilapidated windows – Multiple windows are broken or missing.
• Dilapidated siding – Multiple areas have chipped, broken or missing siding.
• Dilapidated roof – The roofs on the house and detached garage have deteriorated; the shingles are damaged, warped, or missing and there are multiple holes. The chimney on the house is in need of tuckpointing.
• Dilapidated soffit/fascia/gutter – The soffit and fascia on both the house and the detached garage is damaged, rotted away or has holes. There are also areas where the gutter is falling off.
• Dilapidated foundation – There are multiple holes in the foundation and there are areas where the foundation is bowing.
• Dilapidated fence – The chain link fence is falling down and there are areas with bent poles.
You must remedy the defects listed above within thirty (30) days following the service of this Notice upon you. You may remedy the defect by repairing the house and detached garage, or alternatively, by razing all structures on the Property. If you fail to remedy the defects within the time period specified, the City may apply to the Winnebago County Circuit Court for an order determining that the structures on the Property constitute a public nuisance and seek an order to appoint a receiver for the Property and/or raze the structures on the Property.
