NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF AMES, IOWA 2024/25 CDBG INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM (S RUSSELL AVENUE - S 4TH ST TO LINCOLN WAY) PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, will meet on October 14, 2025, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa, at 6:00 p.m., at which time it will hear objections to the plans, specifications, form of contract, and cost estimate for 2024/25 CDBG Infrastructure Program (S Russell Avenue - S 4th St to Lincoln Way). The general nature of the work is: 1,038.50 LF of Water Main, Trenchless, PVC, 8" Dia, 266 LF of Water Main, Trenched, PVC, 8" Dia, 69.4 SY of Removal of Sidewalk/Driveway, 77.6 SY of Sidewalk, PCC, 6'74" Depth, 183 SY of Pavement Removal, 213 SY of Full Depth Patch and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents. Refer to Sheet C.01 in the plans for item specifics and quantities. THIS PROJECT WILL BE SUBJECT TO DAVIS BACON WAGE RATES AND OTHER FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS.
